‘1…like no other’ launches women’s shirt range August 2007
Following the success of the premium limited edition shirt range ‘1…like no other’ across UK and US independents the company has launched a ladies shirt collection into the UK and US for Spring 08.
Beautifully fitted, the collection features prints , jacquards, stripes and plains. Using European fabrics the collection offers luxury with all the details offered by the men’s collection. Limited edition numbering up to 500 per style, printed ribbons and stitching details all add to the product.
Andrew Lowden, Managing Director, said ‘ we have been inundated with requests from customers since we launched 1 Shirts for a ladies version. We have delayed this for 3 years until we were happy that we could get it right – we believe it is now ! I was tired of women telling me that they couldn’t find a really nice cotton shirt !’
For Spring summer 08 ‘1 Woman ..like no other’ embraces the season with beautiful colours , Italian two fold stripes and English Tana Lawn from Liberty London. There are two design stories this season:
OLD BOND STREET
Tradition and sophisticated tailoring is combined with a feminine and contemporary colour palette. Fabrics are in stripes of Spring inspired hues and the finest cotton fabrics. Deep collars and double cuffs add a tailored edge.
KEW GARDENS
Spring florals burst from the finest Liberty print cotton lawn. Silhouettes are soft, prints are colourful and ribbons give an additional feminine edge.
Wholesale prices are around £35. Limited stocks are available for AW07 delivery.

Retailers boast of 95% sell throughs and a customer following and loyalty which larger brands would envy. ‘1’ was launched 5 years ago and was one of the leaders in the ‘fancy’ shirt revolution which now embraces every price bracket from Tesco/Primark to Selfridges.
